Year 3
Welcome

A warm welcome to Year 3! This year marks the beginning of Key Stage 2, and your children will be taught by Miss Harris-Benjamin and Miss Begum. Throughout the year, we’ll be building on the foundations laid in Key Stage 1, following the National Curriculum to explore a wide range of subjects including English, Maths, Science, History, Geography, and more.
As expectations increase slightly in Year 3, regular reading and practising multiplication tables at home will really help support your child’s progress and confidence. We’re looking forward to a fantastic year filled with learning, discovery, and achievement!
Our Class Saint: St. Joan of Arc
![]()
Our Class Saint is St. Joan of Arc. She was brave and trusted God, leading others with courage and faith. She is the patron saint of soldiers and France. Her feast day is 30th May, and her life teaches us the Catholic Social Teaching of ‘Rights and Responsibilities’ by showing how we must stand up for what is right and follow God’s call.
What will my child be learning in Year 3?
