Our House Groups
Our House Groups are an important part of our school community. They provide a welcoming space where pupils and staff come together in prayer, reflection and shared purpose. Each House Group is named after a patron saint who represents courage, faith and commitment. St George, St Patrick, St David and St Andrew inspire us to grow in friendship, compassion and unity. Through our House Groups we strengthen our sense of belonging and support one another in living out our school values each day.
Spring 1 House Groups: Belonging
You belong to Christ and Christ belongs to God.
(1 Corinthians 3:23)
During our first gathering as House Groups, we explored the importance of belonging within our school community: one of our Academy’s core visions. Together, we reflected on what it means to feel welcomed, valued and connected. We then used this shared time to create an art piece that not only celebrated the saint of our House, but also expressed our identity as a school family and what it means to belong to a community rooted in faith, kindness and unity.
